Privacy notice

Who we are
SEO Dons Ltd (Company No. 16766013, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ) publishes commercialbatterystorageinstallation.co.uk and is the data controller for information collected through it. Contact the controller through the contact form.
What this site is
commercialbatterystorageinstallation.co.uk is an information site about commercial battery storage installation. It is not an installer. If you ask for installer quotes through a form on the site, your enquiry is passed to third-party installers so that they can contact you. This notice explains that flow in full.
What information is collected
- Information you type into a form: your name and email address; and, where you choose to give them, your company, postcode area, phone number, the type of installation you are considering, what you want the battery to do, your electricity spend band and a message. The page you sent the form from is recorded with it.
- Technical information: the site does not currently set analytics or advertising cookies. If analytics are added, this notice will be updated before they go live. The hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security and operation.
How the information is used, and who receives it
- Form submissions are processed by Formspree (a US service) under its privacy policy, and delivered to the publisher.
- Quote requests are passed to third-party installers that cover your area, so that they can contact you. One or more installers may receive an enquiry. Those installers are independent controllers of the information once they receive it, and their own privacy notices apply to what they do with it. The publisher may receive a fee from an installer for the introduction, and some installers may be clients of SEO Dons Ltd for marketing services.
- Contact-form messages that are not quote requests are answered by the publisher and are not passed to installers.
- The publisher does not sell your information to anyone else, does not add you to marketing lists, and does not share it beyond the installers described above and the service providers needed to run the site.
Lawful basis
Passing a quote request to installers is done on the basis of your consent, given when you send the form after reading the notice beneath it. Answering other messages and running the site rely on the publisher's legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time through the contact form; installers who have already received your enquiry will need to be contacted directly, and the publisher will tell you which ones they are.
How long information is kept
Enquiries are kept by the publisher for 24 months and then deleted or anonymised. Installers keep what they receive under their own retention policies.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for access to your information, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its processing, and receive a copy in a portable form. Requests go through the contact form. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
The site is served over TLS. Form data is transmitted encrypted and access to it is restricted to the people who handle enquiries.
