We are a commercial battery storage installer, operated by SEO Dons Ltd (registered in England, company number 16766013, 71-75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ). We exist to do one thing well: design, connect and commission commercial battery energy storage systems across the UK, from 60 kWh indoor cabinets to multi-megawatt containerised BESS. What sets us apart from the many businesses that will sell you a battery is that we take responsibility for the part that actually decides whether a project succeeds — the grid connection, the fire siting and the integration into your live switchgear.
Why we focus on the install, not the sales pitch
The economics of a commercial battery are the easy part. The hard part — and the part most contractors gloss over — is delivery: the G99 application and DNO liaison, the G100 limitation design on constrained networks, the PAS 63100 fire strategy, the half-hourly metering, and the witnessed commissioning that proves it all works. Because we lead with the engineering, our proposals show the DNO milestone honestly as the critical path rather than promising an install-in-weeks that ignores the connection queue. If your site's profile does not justify a battery, we will tell you so.
Our standards and accreditations
Every install is designed to the current standards: MCS commercial certification for the storage element, NICEIC or NAPIT electrical registration, and design to BS EN 62619 (cells), BS EN/IEC 62933 (system safety) and PAS 63100:2024 (fire protection), with NFCC guidance on larger sites. On container and larger projects we act as CDM 2015 principal contractor. We specify lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) chemistry for its thermal stability, and we engage your insurer and, where needed, the fire and rescue service before we install, not after.
How we work with you
You get one accountable contractor across the whole chain — feasibility survey, G99/G100 design, fire strategy, civils, install, protection and witnessed commissioning — and a named surveyor who runs your project from the first site visit to handover. Every job finishes with a documented commissioning pack (settings schedule, test results, electrical and fire certification) and a planned O&M regime, along with an itemised fixed-price proposal and a 10-year insurance-backed workmanship warranty. Our approach is deliberately manufacturer-independent and data-led: we size from your half-hourly meter data, not a rule of thumb, and we model capital, asset finance and lease routes side by side.

We do not publish invented install counts, star ratings or testimonials. As a specialist installer within the SEO Dons group we would rather show you a real install project and a straight answer on whether storage is worth it than a wall of unverifiable numbers.
